Our Story
Murdock Insurance Group was established in 2014 by Sherri Murdock with a foundational goal: provide our community with cost-effective solutions for insurance needs while delivering the highest quality customer service. What started as a vision to put clients first has grown into a team of 19 highly qualified agents who prioritize their clients and their specific needs.
We are real people, providing insurance to real people. We maintain a work culture that feels like family, and the same mentality extends to those we serve. To put it simply, we care — and our number one priority is to help others.
Who We Are
Murdock Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency headquartered in Irmo, South Carolina, serving clients in 20 states. Independent means we are not captive to any single insurance carrier. Instead, we represent dozens of top-rated companies, giving our clients access to a wide range of plans and price points. Locally, we serve the entire SC Midlands region — including Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia, Chapin, and surrounding communities.
