What & when is the Open Enrollment Period?

The Open Enrollment Period (OEP) is the yearly period in the fall when people can freely enroll in a health insurance plan for the following calendar year. Open Enrollment begins November 1st every year and typically remains open for 6-12 weeks.

How do I pay my monthly premium?

ALL payments are handled 100% by the insurance carriers. In order for coverage to activate, the premium must be paid. To make your premium payment, you will need to call the respective insurance company or visit their website.

What is the 1095-A tax form, and how do I access it?

The 1095-A form is a mandatory tax form that must be submitted with your taxes for any year you have a Marketplace Health Plan. This form lets the IRS know what you received to discount your premiums throughout the year, and lets them know whether you underpaid or overpaid for coverage. You will receive your 1095-A form in the mail, or you can call our office and we will be happy to send it to you!
